Me neither, but I'm not convinced that the golbal warming that is happening is caused by human activity. I'm concerned because what I feel are real 'pollutants' and the legislation to remove them are falling by the way side to combat cow flatulance.

Call Mulder and Scully.

But seriously, Tunguska is the most likely (not to say that it is actually likely) extraterrestrial event in modern history.

Fine, but ALL meteorite/comet strikes are 'extra-terrestrial events'.

Care to try again?

WTF?

Dude, I'm talking little green men.

Just a little fyi, I'm an astronomy major. So you can cut out the semantical nitpicking.

Little green men? Yes, I figured that's where you were going.
Sorry, it's fun to poke fun.

Do I think we are 'alone' as the only intelligent life in the galaxy - let alone the universe, no. Do I believe that they abduct us for experiments, not from what I have seen. I find the after-life more believeable. Who knows? Maybe they are one and the same?

Besides, those of us who live in the Center of the continent may finally get to live the dream of owning oceanfront property.

Everybody wins! That is, everyone who's left.

Umm... Polar ice caps melting = raising sea level = flooding of coastal cities.

Yes, so even a few degrees can radically affect things.

If he did, I missed it. He hasn't exactly been the most informed poster since he joined.
