Come on Dis, Bush is just not an eloquent speaker. He really has to work up that "down home charm" to make up for his inability to use the english language as a finishing tool. George W. Bush uses the english language like 20 lb sledgehammer on a finishing nail.

Are you trying to say Bush is bright? Surely, you jest.

He's got more mental horsepower than some may give him credit for. Still, he's easily the least intelligent US president in my lifetime.

And that doesn't mean that Kerry will beat him in a debate. Bush is holding his own, for the most part he knows what he should say. He's well prepared, and knows what the issues will be. Not to mention the fact he's been living the issues for 4 years now, he should know them.

But I find it embarssing that he's leading the free world.

Never once proclaimed him to be an eloquent speaker. There are plenty of very intelligent people who aren't eloquent speakers and there are plenty of complete idiots who are.
