I wonder if it is real. I mean, I am sure the call is real. With all the video editing, I just wonder if it actually ends like it does in the video.

I have doubts for a couple reasons.

I love that some mammyrammer decided to splice together some "footage" to make it even more "dramatic" as though hearing someone die on the phone wasn't enough.

Look at the little boat on the bottom right of the screen. You will see the tape is on a loop. Nice the way the call is cut off right as the tower collapsed as well - even though the 911 operator was still on the line, and probably trying to get in touch with the victim. Who knows if those were actually his last words, or if the guy making the video just decided that was an appropriate place to end them.

Horrible stuff. Even worse that someone would edit it.

It wasn't some "mammyrammer".

This video was used at the trial for Zacarias Moussaoui.

If you look at the links I posted, it says that he called his family inbetween making 911 calls.

So let me get this straight.

A clearly looped video with a cut before the end was used in a criminal trial?

That is so ludicrous as to be laughable. If it is true, it pretty clearly makes a mockery of the American judicial system.

I doubt they stole it. The video is all over the web on various sites, including sites dedicated to the memory 9-11 victims, as well as Youtube.

All they did was lift it off another site.

That's what it says on Wikipedia anyhow.

Or maybe it was just the audio. That's probably it.

I really hope so. Because that video is a mockery of a man's death.

It's the internet... who wants to look at a webpage with nothing on it and listen to audio when you can throw video in to make it more interesting.

Not sure why everyone is going on about the video part of it... who cares. The audio is the main thing to focus on here.

Yeah, to tell you the truth, I didn't really notice the video when I was listening to it. Actually for the most part I wasn't even looking at the video. What caught my attention was the audio.

True but at some points I needed the video to read what he was saying, as I couldn't quite make it out.

It was weird how I knew what happened but didn't expect it.

Sorry, what I meant to say was I didn't notice the background. And yeah, for the most part, it was kinda hard to understand what he was saying without reading the transcript.

Flashpoint, the video does not make a mockery of anything. It is just a visual representation of the events that happened that day. The only moment of the video that is critical is the collapse, and I'm pretty sure thats what you here at the end of the call.

Just very disturbing over all. Who ever was ultimately responsible for that day will burn in hell.

What chilled me to the bone was at the end...you can clearly hear things getting louder..as though the building was about to give up from the stress.

Here is my problem. Maybe I am throwing out the baby with the bathwater, but if someone is willing to edit a video to sync up with the audio, how do we know the audio itself is authentic? Wouldn't it make more sense to think that the audio had been edited as well? Was it 1 call? Was it several calls over a few hours? Were his actual last words "oh God", or was there more afterwards that was cut because it didn't "time" nicely with the collapse.

Now, I believe the audio IS authentic. But because of the video editing, I have more doubts than I would have otherwise.

All because someone decided to get "creative".

Very Chilling video indeed... I think that its the several phone calls to 911 that is put together... the video was in a loop... but what's that arrow poinging down at the building?

Though I never expected to hear the Oh God when the tower collasped

So you don't have a problem with it then? You think it is ok to see the little boat go back and forth over and over and pretend it is real?

How can you be sure the tower actually collapsed when he said "Oh God", since you already know the video isn't real.

I guess my question dude is so what?

Why must we call into question the video. The guy was there, the building fell, he died.

I find this discussion to be really odd.

I suppose if you turely belived that 911 calls are also recorded along with satellite video of where the person is calling from, then this particular recording should be the least of your worries, and you should put your tin foil hat back on.

(I'm teasing of course)

I took the video for what it was. 911 had the audio, and somebody added video from around the same time frame to allow us to see what was going on. I could also see the stage the fire was at, and knew the building was about to collapse. All along the video I kept saying to myself "don't tell me they had him on the phone right when the building collapsed."
