I still like the old training center better but a great start to the season with 2 big fights. I like how its all about the boxers and none of the silly challanges.

I think one of the main reasons they dropped the challenges was because of Anthony Bonsante's chariot run. He ended up hurting himself because he wanted to choose the next fight. This new format kicks butt, no challenges and a bigger focus on the trainers and fighters.

That first fight threw me way off. They had me 100% believing that K9 was going down hard and he came out and punished that Clark guy. Looks like he lost focus in the third and fourth rounds but when the fifth came out he was throwing bombs.

I love how they kept the fight filming style the same. Those slow-motion uppercuts in the second fight were awesome.

So glad this show is back.

Also, there are 14 fighters left so if anyone wants to get in on a pool for it reply back here and I'll put all the names together so we can pick fighters before the next episode.

Here's the list once we pick an order:

1. Nick Acevedo
2. Norberto "El Gallito" Bravo (Round 2)
3. Grady "Bad Boy" Brewer
4. Cornelius "K9" Bundrage (Round 2)
5. "Furious Freddy" Curiel
6. Andre "Daredevil" Eason
7. Micheal "No Joke" Stewart
8. Aaron Torres
9. Gary "Tiger" Balletto
10. Vinroy "Slick" Barrett
11. Rudy "El Cachorro" Cisneros
12. Michael "Cold Blood" Clark
13. EBO "The Xtreme Machine" Elder
14. Stephen "2 Pounds" Forbes
15. Jeff "Hell Raza" Fraza
16. Walter "2 Guns" Wright

Of course two fighters are now onto round 2 but I guess that will be the big benefit of picking first.

anyone else think the one judge must have been drunk to pick Cisneros as the winner of the second bout? Did he get extra points for taking upercut punches?

Might be something we miss when they cut down the rounds but Bravo took that fight with no problem at all

Maybe I'll spice it up a little by offering a prize. The prize will be a Lipton Cup of Soup, Chicken Noodle Snack pouch and a random item lifted from the guy's office next to me (Probably a stapler).

Just incase someone didnt see it yet but the blue fighter had yellow on the ropes and didnt take his chance to win the round. Good fighter but too cocky in the ring

Well we could each pick two fighters and see how that works out. Please tell me last nights was a repeat because I completely missed it.

I just watched yesterday's episode, what a great fight...again! I know a lot of it is in the editing, but it is incredibly exciting. I don't even have a favorite this year, I just want to see good fights.

I just finished watching the first two episodes back to back. I had no idea they were doing this again. Where was all the promoting?

If it's not too late, I will totally be in.

Stallone's still listed as an Executive Producer, along with Katzenberg and Burnett. Sly was probably too busy filming the new Rocky flick to devote the time to the process, but I would bet on him appearing at least once in this series.
