I don't believe this to be true. They have applied for a license to have their own 24/7 Wrestling channel though.

Thankfully that hasnt happend, Tim, Sid, Cabbrall, D, Kool, trounce over anyone at any of the other networks.

If they would just hire some more eye candy, I hope no one out east actually considers the Sens reporter eye candy. Deb in Calgary was ok, but they need something else.

MYK
At one time WWE owned a fair portion of "The Score", but has gradually sold off that portion to the point that it's at best a token amount.
The channel is owned by Score Media, and is a public company traded on the TSX. BTW, it also used to own Pridevision, the gay specialty channel.

Mike Toth should have his vocal chords cut.

None of them are that bad. I just hate it when they try and make stupid jokes. Unfortunately, it sounds like that is what Sportsnet actually wants.

Some guys can do it naturally (Mike Richards), some can't (Mike Toth).

And the hottest sportcaster is Martine Gaillard

More eye candy, give me a break. They need to hire something for the ladies to enjoy!

As for the Score, I find they have the good post game coverage. Normally the Flames games end too late for there to be any good post game coverage on TSN. The Score usually has good highlights and interviews following the games. I like that.

Isn't that what Nick Kypreos and Glenn Healy are for? After all if it walks like a himbo and talks like a himbo, doesn't that make it a himbo?

I hear what you're all saying about the Vancouver BS. Sometimes you get a practice report when the Flames have just won a game or something.
But there's some good about sportsnet too, not least of which is our bud Roger Millions. Dreger is good too and I even don't mind Garret, he was pretty Flames friendly at times when it was just fashionable to dump on us (erm the team i mean).
And for all you that don't like the zippy entertainment of Sportsnet compared to TSN all I have to say is Duthie, oh yeah and Maggie. Nuff said.

Sportsnet lost much of its appeal to me when Hazel Mae, who used to do an Alberta based morning show with the Oilers and Flames as the main topics, left. Now they just run the same old crap over and over all morning.

Dreger to TSN.

What is Sportsnet thinking? Aside from Dregers awful goatee, he's a good TV personality. If anything, I thought he'd be the last guy they'd fire. Now if TSN could get rid of Bob "Potatohead" McKenzie.
