Didn't he make the exact same type of prediction last year vs. the Stamps at half time? I guess some people never learn.

I believe that their overall record since taking over the team is a losing one, have had a winning record once. Up until tonight, the the Rider fans have generally been satisfied with what they've done, have been very patient waiting for the team to go from 'competitive' to contendors...from what I'm reading, their fan-base have had enough.
No way! Once you're a Rider fan, you bleed green for the rest of your life. When was the last time the Flames won the Stanley Cup? I'll give you a hint, it was the last time the Riders won the Grey Cup. You're still a Flames fan, right?

I did not see what Barret said at half-time, as I was at the game at Taylor Field But he was probably just echoing the sentiment of everyone in Sask. We hate Burris, with the passion of a thousand suns. Apparently you didn't hear what happened before the first Sask/Calgary game last year... it wasn't pretty.

I was watching this special, and apparently Shivers is the first African American General Manager in professional football (that's including the NFL). I think that's kind of sad considering how many black people play professional football.

Keith has been charged with aggrevated assault this week... let's hope this doesn't hurt the Riders.

I never said that Rider fans are going to stop cheering for their team, nor should they...just that they've had enough with their current regime, the fact that they haven't taken that next step, you know? Take a look at some of the post-game threads at www.riderfans.com and you'll see that people just aren't happy with where the team has been the last couple of years...

Trust me, I heard plenty about what happened last year...should be over it by now, no?
