Eddie I did! I forgot to PM you. It was $119...just like every other place I inquired. I guess it's a flat rate?

Maybe the work would've been less though, you never know.

Maybe I shouldn't say this because it will likely **** you off, and rightfully so, but they only charged me $75. $84 and change with tax.

Oh man, I would have drove back to BC and sold the damn thing

I got my inspection done (finally found a place to do it for $79+tax), but they tacked on about $45 in repairs (needed some secondary break lights replaced -- forgot about that -- plus labour ).

It's the damn labour the inflates the bill so much. I had the same as you TVP, two lights that had to be replaced (a brake light and a liscence plate light) and some brake work...the parts alone only costed $250-300...the rest was the inspection/labour. *sigh* Oh well...darned if i do darned if i don't.

Probably fraud! Don't do it. If you hit someone you could be sued for a mill or two easily and the company could refuse to pay. I'm a financial planner who is insurance licensed (not general insurance) and this is bad advice. It could crush you financially for life.
