That being said, I'll be spending my Canada Day travelling to a cottage on Georgian Bay.

sounds a hell of a lot better than being cooped up behind a desk for 3 days....

I'm going to a cabin in BC, getting a wee bit tipsy and playing as many rounds of drunken golf as possible. I intend to drink 3 days straight, but in all reality I'm sure in my old age I'll probably last one night.
Now that I can afford the inner child in me I'm also going to buy a whack of fireworks, and shoot them at the other campers. Bear bangers are a real crowd pleaser as well, so I might pick some of those bad boys. Needless to say, my show will be 10x what Calgary has put on in the past.
If the ladies get lucky I might just make another swimsuit from saran wrap too!!!

you will be climbing Ha Ling Peak... apparently reffering to Ha Ling as a Chinaman was inappropriate, so it has been renamed.

Yeah, it just gets bigger and bigger every year too. I loved sitting out on the patio watching with fireworks and singing O Canada. It was fantastic. Now that I am thinking about it and remembering what it was like last year, I am getting pretty excited about it. I just hope the weather can hold out. We keep getting rain.

The last intern in my position got accepted with full funding to London School of Economics with full funding. I think it's worth it.
Sometimes it's relaxing though, alot of staff lunches. It's just this one project, my main one, I really want to give'r. Got to impress the boss.

Pffft. It'll be Chinaman's Peak for me. First mountain I climbed, and I have a tough time remembering it as Ha Ling.
I asked my Chinese buddy beside me, and he's not offended, so I'm not going to worry about it.

Celebrating the beginning of two months of vacation! Wee!
Maybe some golf, but more likely than not I will be digging some post holes for a fence and maybe ... maybe even actually building the fence.

I shall be at the Ponoka Stampede for the rodeo and chucks and then the beer gardens. A little Calgary Stampede training camp. Too bad I have to drink Bud all night, yuck!

What are you doing on Canada's day? Oh nothing, just spending it in PEI at a three day concert extravaganza, you know, with some popular bands and such, same ole same ole, anyways, should be entertaining but meh, whatever.

Heading to the crows nest pass to golf and go horse back riding with my dad. Should be a good time. I think I will make a 4 day out of it with the Stampeders playing thursday night I will take Friday off or at least the morning. Then for the hell of it I will take Monday too. I like being my own boss.
