As for the warranty I cannot complain.
I was in Connecticut about 2 years ago and bought a bucnh of used games for my sons PS1.
When I got them back to calgary two of them would not work.
I brought em to the EB games at Southcentre and they exchanged them for me at no charge.
I have had limited experience with them but so far it has been good.

But then you have to re-pay once you change it.
I feel EB Games are a bunch of thieves! My buddy purchased an Xbox 360 with an extended warranty. After 1 month the system had problems (no fault of EB Games) and when he returned it for an exchange, they did an exchange no problem, but told him after using it once the warranty was now voided and he needed to purchase a new one for $50. This was an extended warranty, not an exchange fee!
If I bought a new car and the tail light went out, the dealership wouldn't tell me the 50k mile warranty was now void. EB Games are THIEVES!! Don't risk your hard earned money there. Buy anywhere else.

Ok now I want one! I am sold on this sucker!
I just spend an hour in the EB games playing their demos and went to the future shop next to it lol. Oooooooooo baby, I want one forsure right now. I was about to get one on the spot, but I was able to resist. Keep telling myself "Im currently not working, hold off as I dont need it and stop being so greedy." Oooo man haha, very very close. Im sold on this thing, its amazing. But then when I kept telling myself, well its going to cost me $800cdn with taxes and all, with all the games that I would want for it (and Ive already picked them). But I must be superman or something, I gave myself a pat on the back because I was able to walk out of not one but two stores after this close to getting one then.
And then I came home ...

Costco will not give you a lifetime warranty at no extra cost. Costco has a one year exchange/return policy on the products they sell.

I returned a vacuum cleaner there that was over three years old with no problem.

And did you tell them that the vaccuum was over three years old? I'm just curious as their policy is one year warranty/exchange.

How stupid? It would be stupidity of near epic proportions to spend $800 on a video game system when you are unemployed.

Stupid? Come on! Being unemployed is the perfect time to get a next generation gaming system. What else have you got to do?

You could get drunk and watch some porn. That's what I'd do if I were unemployed.

If you read the gaming thread, he says:

So he is basing his opinion on the older brothers of 2 friends.
If you can't afford the game, then don't get it.
If you have to talk yourself into spending that much money then don't get it.
When you save up enough that you can pay for it outright with no guilt - THEN get it.

Huh? Oh gezze no one has ever actually asked me why when I make my (insert something here) is overrated statements.
Ok well I am just not a fan of gaming, there are so many better things you could IMO. I mostly think this cause I spend a lot of time at the gym 12-15 hours a week and rarely ever sit in front of the T.V. for any reason, expect hockey games, its just not something that I value very much, but I know a lot of people do and I can understand that because if it makes you happy then why not?
Also I know a couple of Hardcore gamers who, and the amount of time they but into gaming has really destroyed there social lives, the just don’t have any motivation they are both in there early 20’s neither of them have there driver license, both work part time one at spencers gifts in south centre mall the other a Safeway anyways its just kind of sad IMO but if it makes them happy then who am I to judge?
