Fair enough. I just spend a lot of times on NFL forums too and that has become a huge pet peeve.

don't know much about Brooks but I think he will be better then Collins. Collins had more incomplete passes and interceptions then I could shake a stick at.

You would swear Collins was working for the opposing team.

Borrks has to be the most frustrating QB of the last 5 years. So much potential, and the flashes of brilliance like he could carry a team. But the space between his ears is just that - space.
Completion percentages - last 4 years
Year Brooks Collins
2002 53.6 61.8
2003 59.1 56.8
2004 57.0 56.3
2005 55.7 53.5
I don't think Brooks is a saviour, unless the new coach has a better system for him.

not a big difference there. I guess interceptions is the key.

The problem in Oakland was not Collins. It was that they had NOTHING around him.
Moss, Porter hurt. No running game, or at least a half-hearted one. And only one really good player on the offensive line to build around in Robert Gallery.
Not to mention, their defense was brutal.
Brooks will fare no better. As long as Al Davis is in control of personel decisions the Raiders will struggle to find good seasons.
This is of course not biased at all, me being a Broncos fan!
I don't think Collins is a great QB, but there are a lot worse starting in the NFL and Aaron Brooks is one of them.

Why? I don't simply adopt teams when I move to a new locale. I'm loyal baby!

NIce signing for the Ravens. Always loved McNair, hope he can get another chance at a championship before his run is over.
