Just like the Christian Right in the states shouldn't be called Christian at all (honestly, with so much hatred in them, how they pull off the idea they are Christians amazes me). Instead, they should be called Christianists, as they too follow a political ideology that selects aspects of a religion to use for its own gain.

The recent religious sourced ideologies are pretty damn scary and annoying.
How about the Christian 'left' that protest at US soldiers funerals?
Can't get much more sick than that.

Were they planning on doing something in Canada, or were they gonna try and sneak it over the border into the U.S?

It's definitely an intriguing topic for discussion, when Canada-born suspects apparently feel more loyal to a country they weren't even born in. Why is this happening? Why are they planning an attack on a country where they've spent the majority of their lives in?

I wouldn't say they are from the left , when their whole argument is based on the view that soldiers in the US army are being punished , for the US Goverment/People's supposed leniency towards gays , that's more of a Fringe Right Wing View , Go look up the WestBoro Baptist Church if you really want to get sick to your stomach

Holy moly. You think those people are part of some "Christian left"? They aren't. They are about as conservative as you can possibly get. Their message isn't anti-war, their message is that God is punishing America (killing soldiers) because America is too liberal.

It's got nothing to do with peace and they aren't against the Iraq war. They are not protesting the war. That is not the point they are trying to make.

The message they are trying to get across is this:

"America is not conservative enough so God is killing the soldiers". Or to put it another way "America is far too liberal so God is killing the soldiers".

How you can get "left wing" out of a group that plainly says they are conservative and want the country to be conservative is beyond me.

It's like saying the Ku Klux Klan is left wing because they hate non-white people. It just doesn't make sense.

From The Huffington Post

"Members of a church say God is punishing American soldiers for defending a country that harbors gays, and they brought their anti-gay message to the funerals Saturday of two Tennessee soldiers killed in Iraq."

Yep I dunno sounds like what someone from the Left would say...

They also have a GodhatesCanada, and a GodhatesSweden website. Sure sounds like a left leaning group to me!

They're more extreme then the other extreme right-wing groups out there.

Look at how Phelps conducts family matters within the church.

White Doors' life must be simple. Just blame any and all liberals, regardless of validity or accuracy.

I agree. And, if they became Canadian Citizens, their citizenship should be revoked. Not much we can do about the people that were born here. Just put them in jail.
