Hope it's not serious, although it's kind of weird you have so many different things going wrong all at the same time.

I'm sure you'll be OK, but make sure you do yourself, and all of us, a big favour by getting your butt down to an ER ASAP if you feel worse at all through the night. It's been said already.........it's probably nothing, but it can't hurt getting it checked out.

Take care........let us know how how it works out.

I hear what you guys are saying, but after getting the treatment I did at that clinic, I kind of wondered if there was anywhere I could go that wouldn't just tell me to **** off.

Oh, I don't have a family doctor. In the time I've been here, I never needed to go to one. Other than the chiro, I've had no medical issues whatsoever. I guess it's time to get one.

That's where I was when they told me to put ice on the whiplash.

Oh, and thanks for the link photon, I'm checking that out right now.

Last time I went to the clinic and was told to go home because it would get better on its own my heart stopped the next day. True story... I'll never trust a clinic again.

That healthlink number... is it good for all of alberta or just the CHR?

I sure could have used it numerous times.

well good news

if you were posting 2 hours after the original post, and still slightly worried, then it's not flesh eating disease, you can litterally watch it spread over your body

I was tested for it when I was in grade 9, turned out to be cellulitis. If that is the case, don't worry, go to the doctor/ER (if it is that, they won't say it's nothing as it can be serious if untreated, but it's a simple IV a couple of times over a few days to clear it up, followed by some medication in pill form).

Just to be clear, I am NO doctor by any stretch of the imagination. But I'd get it checked out sooner rather than later.

Hope it's nothing but a coinsidential heat rash.

Yeah, it can't be anything too serious. I awoke this morning and everything is status quo. The rash only got slightly worse, nothing worth worrying about, and I feel exactly the same so it's nothing serious. I'm just going to head to a doc today and see what I can find out.

I am wondering when the last time you had a tetanus shot?

I experienced these systoms as well and ended up being attached to an IV. I was kept overnight as the swelling and stiffness and rash were a little unpleasant to look at.

Go see a doctor. if you dont take care of yourself no body else will! My mom always used to say that. Good advice.

Just go to the clinic at MarketMall Professional building. Its probably closer and less busy then Foothills.

Call Healthlink - that's what they are there for. They won't take chances, but they if it isn't anything to be worried about they will save you sitting in a waiting room to find out it isn't anything.

I'm guessing a tetanus show booster will be recommended if you haven't gotten one in a few years.

LOL. That was first thing I thought of too. Tetnist usually takes a few days to develop though doesn't it?

I think messageboard diagnosis should be a punishable offence.
