I love how they are reporting this like it is breaking news. Canada has been a haven for terrorists for a long time now. Its not new.

Exactly. it's impossible to be bias free. So with that, we have to watch for 'agenda's'.. The big corporations' agenda is shareholder value. To make money and keep shareholders happy. I like that agenda alot more than the agenda of a government owned media source... What's their agenda?

What from Space cadet, Micheal Moore/ Loose Change lefty-zone to Rightwing NDP?
Gee what a shift!
They must have lost three viewers out of 10 non-hockey nights.

Actually it's become quite apparent that he can't. CBC always shifts with a new government because that's where their funding comes from. You think Harper's going to put money into a network that bashes him?

I must have missed the other 5....
To be honest, the article linked in this thread doesn't say anything particularly concrete. The logic goes something like this:
A. Cholera is caused by sewage.
B. Canadian cities use sewage systems.
C. Sewage systems in other cities have failed.
D. We should be alarmed about cholera.
That's not to say that I think we "shouldn't be in Afghanistan." Just that I'm no more alarmed than before I read the article. In my opinion, it doesn't prove too much of anything.

Thats what it has to do with it. Hello McFly.

Yes. Because eradicating a whole religious group was such a good idea 70 years ago, why not try it again?
Am I losing it here? Since when is "eradicating" religious groups acceptable?
And what exactly does "Hello McFly" mean? Is that D&D loser talk for something?

I'm going to guess you've never seen "Back to the Future"....
It's worth noting that in that film "Hello McFly" are the words of a bully who eventually gets his comeuppance. Does that seem fitting to anyone else?

Of course I've seen the movie but, regrettably, that quote was not a memorable one for me.
Ok, now I get the origin, but I still don't get its application here. Your needling, rhetorical interjection serves no edifying purpose, though you may think it does.

It was a reference to how jolinar was using it. He switched from "Thanks tips", obviously a sarcastic and negative saying, to "hello McFly", with the same basic tone being implied. He's not being at all respectful, and that's what Iowa_Flames_Fan was trying to get across.
You may be used to people "attacking" you and your thoughts... this was not one of those times. Relax. Don't worry about trying to look smart by using all of those "big words".

Thanks for clearing things up. Now if only the others could digitze their mental machinations so eloquently as you, fine sir.
LOL. Okay, I'll stop. Thanks for a post free of attitude.

Evman, you're the only one who brought up exterminations.

You know what. These radical groups have no purpose what so ever on this planet. They need to be eradicated. Now, you can define eradication how ever you like. They can be asimilated into their culture and the conditions that bring about these radical ideas can be tackled. Or you can drop a bomb on their house, what ever you think is the right way. But the fact remains they are pure evil and should not be allowed to remain on this planet.
