For music it's legal to do both at the moment, but I'm not sure that TV shows are covered as well.
Either way many people on the forums aren't in Canada
Please don't post links to or request copyrighted material on the forums. Thanks.

Those "Russian" guys were actually speaking Portuguese. I don't know where they were though. For some reason I think that are some where at or near the south pole which wouldn't be too far from where the Island is supposed to be.
It is going to be a long summer waiting for answers again.
I have heard theories about the Island being a gateway to Atlantis and they used the magnet to pull that statue up. Not sure how much I like that theory though.
The look at the end of the show between Kate and Jack was interesteing. Seems like they have some kind of plan. However with bags on their heads and hands tied I am interested to see what it is.
Check out: www.lost-tv.com and go to the message board. All types of crazy theories and ideas there.

Anyone tried any of those websites that are adevertised during the show? I can't remember what any of them were. I think that last nights was Hansocareers.com or something like that.

Would Pen be involved with the Dharma Initiative. She has money, she's rich. Could be a connection somewhere, the last name would obviously be different because she got married. The father was involved with the military at somepoint, so there could be a connection there with the military and Dharma.
|
For sure, perhaps her dad started "Darma" and she knows about the magnetic thing somehow. She also knew her father didn't like him, and perhaps caused his boat to be dragged into the magnetic field. Since she knows this she has paid two guys to monitor for unusual magnetic activity to find him.
If the big magnet caused the plane crash, could be a bremuda triangle type theory...

I started watching this show because of you guys. I hate you guys.
That Lost forum is crazy. The theories are outstanding, and the details these guys remember are great.
There's one theory on there that I have always believed the show was based around. The snowglobe theory. Something like the Truman Show.

Okay, sorry to ask late but a quick question here. When Locke won't press the button and Desmond goes and gets the key and turns it at the last minute isn't that just as effective as entering the code, sort of like a back-up system? if so than we truly haven't seen the affects of not pressing the button.

OK, I've now watched both seasons in the last month.
Actually, if you watch them all like this, you see a lot of repetitive writing, but the story is cool.
Why the heck didn't Locke look through the logs to see if Henry pressed the button?
And Michael is an ass. I never saw him as sympathetic. And he killed 2 people (along with betraying 4 others) to get Walt. On who's planet is that acceptable?

Yeah, good point about Locke not checking to see if Henry ever pressed the button.
My only guess as to Michael breaking every moral of a human being, is that when he made the brief contact with Walt on the computer, he regained his hope that is son is ok, and so that further fueled his ambition to rescue him.. at all costs.
And more appropriate to the "WTF" in the title, what did you think about the "twist" at the end down in Antartica.

I think the override caused the 'machine' to burn out. That allows the beacon Penelope had placed in Des' boat to suddenly be picked up.
The 2 guys said something like "Not another false alarm" - the other times the systems nearly overloaded would allow a signal to slip out until the button was pressed. (Note: those are some pretty nice fonts and a pretty smooth scroll for an '80s era green screen).
