I'd pick Adam Morrison or Aldridge, I don't think it could possibly be anyone else. Aldridge might be a good one to take given the Texas connection with Bosh, though Morrison has great game and it doesn't seem like Mike James will be around long at all (if even past this off-season).

On a selfish level, I hope to god they take Morrison. Love watching him play and playing on the Raps would put him on tv a ton here in Canada.

One of the biggest days in Raptors history

All the Bargnani talk really scares me. He's about fifth on my list of who'd I like to see the raptors get, behind Aldridge, Bargnani, Morrison, Gay, and Thomas.

He's fifth AND second on your list?

I really don't want them to pick another of these "unknown" type guys. Can you imagine the fan revolt?

If they take a flyer on a guy, there's no way the fans would support the organization...guaranteed. From just reading players profiles, I hope to God they choose Aldridge, as he seems to be a proper fit with strong potential; while Bargnani seems to be a huge gamble although 6 hours ago, he looked alright (when the Raptors at the time were choosing 5th). I admit though, I haven't seen any of these players play yet, so I may just be looking too much at their profiles. I do hope though, that they make a humdinger of a deal with the first-overall and acquire a top-notch proven Centre even if it means a package deal involving CV.

Morrison is too soft. Go elsewhere.

Its great they have the first pick but this could turn out to be a Disaster for the team if the player they take is a bust.. Good thing the old GM is gone... I could see him messing this up big time.

the new GM built a solid team in Pheonix so I will give him the benefit of the doubt..

It's about time the Raptors got some good luck.

Aldridge seems like the most logical choice. Fits a need and is an impressive player to boot. Although it seems like the Raptors brass has a thing for Bargnani.

I would have been more worried as a Raptor fan if Babcock was running things, but with Colangelo at the helm I'd be pretty confident.

That said, man its too bad that this didn't happen next year. Greg Oden is a monster.....
