Singers/Bands you can't stand

Not to say I don't like some of the songs... but after hearing it on the radio fifty times a day, I probably won't any longer.

Good Charlotte and Simple Plan are the only two bands I absolutely cannot stand. I also can't stand rap music at all. I'd say all emo bands, but I'm sure I like at least one band that could be classified as emo.

Tragically Hip, just can't stand Downie and his nasaly yodelling. This is the band that above all I can't stand, ecspecially because every time they are mentioned somewhere in the sentence it also has to be mentioned that their Canadian. I don't give a **** that the worst sounds to ever enter my ears came from ****ing Canada!

Any and all Screamo/Emocore/Christian Rock/Grunge/Math Rock/Mathcore etc. is pure garbage and is some of the most vile soundwaves ever recorded.

There are many more, but just thinking of these two has gotten my blood boiling

Wow.. lots of hate for rap music on here.

I love rap/hiphop but even I'll admit the stuff thats been coming out the last couple years its complete garbage. Besides Kanye West, The streets and one or two odd singles rap music has taken a turn for the worse.

As far as bands I hate.. Black Eyed Peas, *****cat Dolls (don't mind the videos though), Massari, Shawn Desmon wow I could go on for a while but you get the idea

90% of anything played on MTV, muchmusic, or radio. popular music isn't about the actual music anymore, it's about following a successful formula and milking it for all it's worth and then moving on to the next "big thing"

i'm just thankful we have the internet now so that the great, unknown bands who play simply for the love of music can get some exposure

So overplayed on CJAY and Q107. Overplayed at Flames games and everyother sporting event. Overplayed at bars and pubs. Overplayed at anything that has speakers. Everyone of their songs sounds exactly the same. They basically only have one song.

Well technically speaking, since this thread started about the 'sound' of a singer, I can't say that any one singer's voice is particularly irritating. There is irritating music certainly, but I can't say there's one voice that is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.
