Also truck drivers have been able to not wear hardhats because they would not be able to wear their turbins.

I don't know anything about Sharia law in Ontario, but I do know it never meant a damn thing to me. I never had a traditional value threatened or taken away from me. Neither did you.
As for the mounties -- first of all it's not a business. Secondly, it's not one of my "traditional values" that a mountie wear a particular hat. I wasn't raised to believe that mounties should be wearing this hat or that hat. Were you? That turban thing has always seemed really strange to me. I mean really, what's the difference if the cop has a badge on his turban or a hat? I love the old "it's tradition to wear hat X". No it's not. The mountie tradition is a red serge and a horse, but since we are in the modern world and things change, the uniform evolved. And I'm pretty sure that in 2006 there are a few people around wearing turbans that are not immigrants.
I never heard the thing about truck drivers but if that's the case, well, tough break. I wasn't raised on a traditional belief that said a trucker should be wearing a hard hat.
The Christmas pageants -- does anyone really care or do you just want something to gripe about? When is the last time you guys went to a Christmas pageant? And if you really do need to see one, if a Christmas pageant is one of your "traditional values", go to a church. I'm not an immigrant and I don't want public schools teaching those myths to children anyway and you can't blame immigrants for that, trust me.
