Extremely.
I thought they needed to get a QB, but not necessarily a blue chipper. I honestly like Cutler the best of the 3 big QB's. I didn't think Shanahan would go for the big QB this year though. I'm shocked. Just found out too, been working all day!
I can't believe how far some guys fell! Justice to the 2nd round? Chad Jackson? WOW!

Philly gets two top 15 players in DT Bunkley and OT Justice. If only they could have gotten Javon Walker it would have been a perfect day.
Good grades on the first day for:
Tenessee (Vince Young and Lendale White)
Philly (bunkley, justice)
Jets (brick, mangold)
San Fran (vernon davis and lawson)
Oakland (huff, howard)
Denver. (Cutler and Javon Walker)

Just found out about the Walker trade, though it's been rumoured all week. I hope his knee is good. Would be nice to get Lelie on board and have a three tiered attack, but I don't see it.

Excellent pick at #52 Tranny. I had him as a possibility for Denver at the spot they traded to GB to get Walker. Greg Jennings.

Biggest question of the day for me....
How do the Raiders pass on Matt Leinart @ #7?
Chiefs just took Croyle in the third round. Great value pick, could turn out to be the guy that takes over for Green or could be the next Todd Collins. Either way, it's a good pick for the Chiefs.

There were questions about Leinharts arm strength. That always scares off alot of teams. Especially one like the Raiders who need a guy who can make all the throws downfield to guys like Moss and Porter.

Well, there's no question about his arm strength...it's just that he doesn't have a big arm. If the Raiders weren't sold on him they should've taken Cutler who can make all those throws. I'm just wondering how they could pass on a QB (Huff is a great pick though) because I can't think of a team in the top 10 that needed a QB more than they did.
They may have that big arm philosophy though.

I looked at that too and wondered why Dis, but they just committed money to Aaron Brooks, so I assume that it is his job to lose.
I would have taken him in a heart beat, mostly because I'm not sold on Brooks, I mean he has some pretty bad numbers, is quite inconsistant and had a solid running game behind him as well as a good target in Joe Horn to throw too.

I guess I wasn't paying attention when they signed Brooks. I mean, I knew they did sign him, but I didn't know what kind of deal he got. His last couple of seasons in New Orleans have been brutal, as you say Cam.
My hope for day 2 is that Jeremy Bloom ends up picked by Denver. It just makes too much sense not to happen.

Just noticed that the Pats havent picked a single defensive player in 6 chances yet....including 2 Tight Ends.
