Looks like a pretty decent laptop for that price.

Just saw this article about the wide screen 20" monitors.

Well, hopefully that isn't a problem for the normal aspect ratio 2007FP....that I broke down and ordered last night.

2nd round should be good to go.

I received my monitor in 1 week from Dell. Pretty fast shipping!

Hey Photon (or anyone else who can answer this),

What "bit" are the monitors up there today? I can't seem to find this information...

Man, the 24" is taunting me....must....resist....

As I posted last week, there is noise about problems with the Dell badged (LG produced) monitors, especially the 20" wide screen they have up so please read this before you buy just so you're informed.

EDIT: Also thinking about this some more. You can get 2 19" Viewsonic monitors with better response time for less money. I'd rather have dual display unless you're a big widescreen movie on the PC viewer...

Ya sort of related to that, today I went and bought a new pair of Spys with my regular season draft winnings, 180 bucks with taxes, for me that is a fair chunk of cash. While I am trying on shades she knocks a pair off the shelf, they crash on the floor, another pair she fumbles on the counter they land right on the lense. Then when I pick the pair I want she tries to give me the pair off the shelf.

LoL. .. ya right ... 180 bucks for your show pair, nice try sweet heart, give me a new pair.

Further proveing your point, if you don't ask, people will screw you.

The 17" panel is a 6 bit panel for those interested.

I thought the promo ended at the end of this week. I guess it was a pretty obvious question...
