Summer plans

Going to get my first extended break since summer 2004. No summer classes for me this year. I'll be playing a lot of poker this summer, my goal is to make 8k for May through August. I'm also playing baseball after not playing last summer. I'll be playing in the local men's league which is a pretty good level. We're all has-beens but it's still pretty good baseball. Beyond that, it'll be the beach I guess. Relaxing. Enjoying the time before I have to start taking six courses per semester starting this September.

It'll be fun not to have to do anything. But I do plan on getting an early start on some of my September classes. Study up to have a bit of a grasp just to make things easier.

I was pondering getting a job, but I decided against it. I'm going to have to take summer courses in 2007 so this is pretty much my last summer free for the near future.

I'll be working, working, and more working. Probably take a few days off for rocket launching and some more time for camping.

Cycling around Europe for a few months. After that I am going to have to start looking for real work or something like that.

On the first day of May, I depart for Fortress Europa. Just me, my biddy, and a couple of backpacks, for 3 months. We start in Ireland, stay with family for a few weeks, and then go exploring the continent. I don't have a clue what to expect, and I like the feeling. I'll get back August 1st and begin working off the debt.

Downside? Only one, but it's big: the most I'll get to see is the first round of playoffs, and maybe not even the whole round, depending on length. So I'll be leaving right in the height of the drama, but this is a once in a lifetime chance for me, and hey, I hear they have internet over there so I can still feed my CP addiction and stay in the hockey loop. I'm sure gonna miss this playoff drive, and I have a good feeling about the Flames' chances. But hey, if me leaving the country is what it takes for Calgary to capture the holy grail, then that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make for all of you!

Also, I'll still likely be able to talk Flames hockey with 4X4 in Italy!

Ottomatic.. i can tell you in a few weeks...

I am going to Ireland and Scotland for 10 days after i finish up my semester here in Sweden.

After that I have to spend the last 2 weeks in April and all of May cramming information into my head for my Board examinations at hte end of May.. a 4 day marathon examination that i have to pass to practice in Canada.

Then in June, I have a friends bachelor party and wedding, graduation and 6 days in Vegas... probably wont remember much of June.

IN July i am going to work a few weeks and spend the rest of the time finding a job.

In August I start my career.

Took my vacation during this current "work" term.
