Happened to me as well (Live Beside Chinook Center).
My Stove/Microwave clock both got reset, but my alarm clock is just fine.
Computer got turned off as well.

It was really strange. The outage kind of rolled through my place, starting in the kitchen and ending with my TV.

Mine went out too. I thought it was my breaker in the house.

I had the outage also. All of my clocks were fine, but my computer restarted and such.
While we're on the topic, I have a question about power lines, yesterday I noticed that the power line behind my neighbours house was hissing, I thought it was strange but figured it was the fog. Tonight I was walking my dog and it was still hissing, so I looked up at it and ever 30 second or so you can see a small spark- is this normal?

Uh I am no electrical engineer but a hissing/sparking power line sounds like a fire waiting to happen.
Call the City, maybe?

Was driving down Glemore during it. Errie to say the least. Not every day you see the downtown pitch black.

Scary...wouldn't it be cool if there was a power outage for like 30 mins? I wonder what will happen to the city during that time.

Pfffft....You guys don't know power outage until you've had a rolling black or brown out....It happens often here...
It was Dion, Jiri, he was testing his theory of throwing the current the other way.

But look at what I said about the microwave and oven. Opposite effects.
