My thoughts exactly. I think thats a big appeal of the show to me. Little things like Tony's confrontation with those monks. Haha! I mean c'mon! Who but Tony Soprano could get slapped by a monk!?! Even if it was a dream....

It was a hot dog without the bun. Vito's probably doing Atkins so he skipped the bun.

new episode tonight, I think Tony's gonna be in the hospital bed for a couple more episodes. I can feel a power struggle happening in tonights episode as to who is gonna handle the business for Tony, cant wait for a Paulie and Silvio fight. Thats just what Im predicting.

Interesting episode tonight. Lots of 'family' politics playing out. Paulie and Vito showing their true dirtbag colours, and Silvio having a hard time with playing temporary skip.
They sure brought Tony out of his coma earlier than I would have thought though.
I loved the part where Paulie goes in to talk to the still comatose Tony and causes a medical emergency...shows how Tony really feels about Paulie.
Overall, not one of the best, but like I said, interesting.

I thought it was a great episode, the final dream sequence with Tony about to enter heaven was so bloody good. The kids voices in the background were defeinitely creepy. Almost as creepy as the scene with VIto and Finn, OMG. Good episode thought IMO, the writers of this show are amazing.

So what did you guys think about last nights episode? That scene with Vito in the club was frickin' hilarious.
What do you guys think will happen with Vito? Think he'll eat a bullet? I'm not so sure. I think he may vanish for a while and re-surface after taking out the two guys who saw him in the club.....just a thought....

I thought it was a decent episode, but when tony beat the crap out of that guy at the end, I know Tony was just trying to make a point that he's not weak, but that just made him look crazy! And Vito, well if he dosent clip those guys fast that saw him at the bar, he'll be sleeping with the fishes

Season six has been like watching a soap opera.
First you have the shooting and hospital drama, than you have the wedding drama, now the Vito drama, typical soap formula, all we need is Meadow or A.J. to have a baby.
The episodes have been getting better, however I like what made this show original in its early years, the intense mob stories.
If you want to watch a show that is intense like the Sopranos were, I recommend the Shield.

This show has always been a soap. My wife loves it for the non mob stories like the mother drama at first then Janice and her wacky boyfriends, Chris&Ad, the priest and Carmella, Carmella and Fabio, junior etc.
Great show BTW,
Does anyone think the russian dude (the woods escapee) will come back?
Good episode last night. Vito is not dead. I think he is laying low for a bit and will come back and get caught. Too good of a side story to let go so quickly. I think they will have some fun with that one. I can almost see Paulie giving his lecture to Vito

Great episode last night, what other show can a couple of mobsters attack a world famous actress, punch her and take her goody bag?? HAHAHAHAHA, I laughed sooooooo hard.
Benny burning Artie's hand was great too, Artie deserved it with the comment at the table, "Benny, would you like something from the bar, perhaps a Martina???"

Ya that was a great episode. This season has been fantastic so far. I loved that whole battle with Artie and how his business is slipping. I wish Artie would get clipped though, man he bugs me.
I loved when Christopher was in that comp room with Ben Kingsley and he was losing his mind because of all the free stuff. Haha!

Im a huge Sopranos fan, and have seen each episode at least 3 or 4 times and I have to say last night was one of the worst episodes I have ever seen. There was just no flow to the episode at all. I mean it started off as a "Christopher" episode, then kinda trailed into a "Paulie" episode and throw in some Bobby/Janice stuff and all of the stuff from last night will probably have little to no effect on how the rest of the season turns out with the exception to Chris getting married and maybe becoming a junkie again.
Maybe I missed the entire point of the episode, but I usually am pretty sharp when it comes to this show, but just a bad, bad episode last and this is coming from a guy who has never complained ONCE about a Sopranos episode.

It was definitely below par. Kept waiting for something to happen, but it never did. Ah well.

Wow, great episode last night, can't believe there are only two more left, this show is just too good to call it quits.
Favorite part last night for me was when Johnny Sack was in jail talkin to his brother in law and they were tryin some code talk and the guy just couldnt get it, then at the end of the conversation, "Did you get Ginny's birthday cake, the one with the flowers???" "You mean the thing behind the pool" Then Johhny goes, "No, I mean an actual ****ING CAKE!!!'"
God, that was hilarious!!!!!!!!!

I swear they were watching CFL football in New Jersey. The second time the football was on, not when they got in a fight because this is a Giants house. Later in the episode when they were all gathered around, I Heard Chris Cuthbert calling a Nealon Greene scramble. Am I mad or was this not the CFL. Probably something to do with NFL broadcasting rights and major moola and all the CFL wants in return is a reference in the credits or a ham sandwich delivered to the commisioners office.
Did anyone else see that?

you're not on crack, I heard that too, and I think you are spot on when it comes to the NFL and broadcasting rights as to the reason they couldnt show an actual NFL game. I got a huge kick out of that.
