The Pentagon; it does leave the question as what happened to the wreckage of the plane. My guess with it being such an important federal building is that the plane was shot down just before it would have hit, and a stray missile hit the Pentagon.

Keep in mind that the Washington bound planes both missed their targets. They were supposed to hit the White House and the Capitol building.
I've never bought the whole missile theory causing the hole in the Pentagon, air to air missiles actually have a very small warhead, but when it explodes it drives debris and usually small metal rods in front of it in a cone shaped pattern. Air to air missiles are designed to explode close to its target not on contact to its target. If a missile had exploded due to misfire, it would look like someone had shot a god sized shotgun at the building, not blown a hole in the concrete, the warheads just aren't big enough.

The patriot missile system is the big boy of the air to air missile familly and it only carries about a 200 pound warhead, nowhere near big enough to cause that kind of damage.

Isn't the Patriot a surface-to-air missile?

Yes I mistyped in all of my glory.

If I was to use a sparrow for example it has a 85 lb warhead, same kind of effect, but a smaller cone of destruction

But if you think that the reason France, Germany and Russia would not vote for it is because they didn't think there was WMD's then you are mistaken. None of them gave a crap if they had them or not, they were worried abotu losing political influence. that's it. Saddam was a danger and now he;s not. Was he the danger that they thopught he might have been? No, but he was still a danger, especially in that region.
Dictators still need to stave off unrest and seek public approval for some things. What do you think Hitler was trying to do when he publicly spoke about the "Juden" poisoning the German culture and trying to control Germany? He wanted to get the public behind him so he could pursue his political objectives. I sure would hope that if had been alive in Germany in the 1930s, I would have been a "conspiracy theorist" who questioned what the leaders and the media were saying.

If some two-bit documentary producer can make a low-budget documentary spinning things in a untrue way, then just imagine what media outlets with seasoned professionals funded by billion dollar corporations, and with the support of politicians can do.

Anyway, I'm just saying that the issue is worth discussing, and the documentary is worth watching, albeit with a careful eye. I notice you said that you watched it, which shows your open mindedness on the subject - so I respect your opinion on the 9/11 issue.

Many people died that day in the twin towers, on the ground below the towers, in the Pentagon, and in those planes. He can say a rocket, or a plane used by the army blew into those buildings all he wants, but those passengers died, and were on those flights.

Huh, well I have heard of the whole "international jewish conspiracy" thing. I was just more surprised that you actually got a phone call somewhat relating to it...tht must have been weird/spooky!

Yes, thank you.

As I said before, I don't believe that there is a conspiracy in place here. What I have is questions, and previously all I had to go on were the conspiracy theorists.

I'm about 1/2 way through the PM article, and so far it has confirmed what I thought was false about the conspiracy theory regarding the WTC buildings. Hopefully there's some good stuff in there for the Pentagon too.

From 2004, the Washington Post with a look at this conspiracy theory and others, how they spread via the internet with startling immediacy and why people are sucked into them.

The Popular Mechanics article is easily the best write-up about 9/11 conspiracies that I've seen. I liked it so much, that I ordered a back copy from them to show the losers I work with that Dubya was not in fact the mastermind behind 9/11. And yes, I really work with people like that.
