Interesting tidbit, turns out my friend was a finalist for the last (and only) Martha Stewart Apprentice. She went to Philadelphia for a two-hour long videotaped interview.

She wasn't selected as the seemingly token Latina spot went to Marcella instead.

I can't seem to enjoy the Apprentice anymore after the first season. It seemed to lose it's charm completely.

I can't stand how commercialized it's getting now. I mean it had a bit of that crap in the first season but now it seems like every task has something to do with developing an ad campaign/slogan/new product for COMPANY A while using a credit card from COMPANY B talking on cell phones provided by COMPANY C.... and so on.

Having said that, I am interested in a pool because I know I'm going to be watching every episode cause I'm a damn sucker. How does this pool work and can I still get in?

Man, I'm not in the pool, but all I want to say is that I'm all for watching that puke-inducing keener Lee get his ass handed to him on that show.

Perhaps I'm just jealous, since he's my age.

The way it works is that after the first episode everyone picks one person that is left on the show. One person will be fired, and we will have 17 candidates left. One candidate per person. The person that picked the winning candidate wins the pool.

We need one more entry. KevanGuy? Mango? Or anyone else from season 4?

It's too early to really tell if I'll be picking the right person, but after the first show, I have a pretty good idea who won't win.

Probably the cheeziest part of the show was early on when the Donald was on his plane before the contestants came on board.

Doanld picks up the phone........."I'll be there in an hour".........hangs the phone up.

What was the point of that?

What a freakin idiot.

All the people that support Tarek are in the board room, while all the people that don't support him are going to be in the board room ripping him apart.
