I once drove down to cowboys for $0.50 draft and after 20-30 dollars worth I had to call drivers alternative to drive me home. Well my car is a manual and i dont noramlly do to well in manuals when intoxicated.

We are about 5 blocks from my house and i inform the driver to pull the fata over. I have a 94 cavalier and the door locks are a bitch to find when drunk and i cant unlock door fast enough, and yak all over the door and some of the dash luckily for my friends my hands were to busy trying to open door to try to cover my mouth.

I got up the next day and took the steam cleaner out and cleaned it. It was the middle of february so it would freeze almost instantly. So steam cleaner, lots of paper towel, and a ****load of febreze. Had smell for a while afterwards but seems to be gone now. This was last FEB.

Does Servepro do something like this? I like the idea of calling a rental agency to see where they send their "problem" cars....

A girl in a car with me once let loose. Only we had just come from Smuggler's all you can eat Sunday brunch. The horror...the horror.... He used pure ammonia from Safeway or some other really nasty cleaner.

Another time after a night out, a guy in the back seat of a 91 Cavalier Coupe had to barf. Luckily his tshirt was tucked in and since the window was not an option and he was still somewhat coherent - he barfed into his tucked in shirt limiting the blast damage. We pulled him over and got him out as quick as we could before too much soakage occured. Kind of funny to watch him jiggle his barf in the shirt like a beer belly. Not as funny as the photos a friend took....

I've taken a car to the car wash. Cover up any speakers and such. Open the doors and hose it out in the area inside as good as you can. Use your own wet vacuum to dry it out as good as possible [Car washes don't appreciate using theirs to suck up water]. Spray it with a good deodrant and let it dry.

I was joking, but yes I agree... if you puke in the car, you are responsible to clean it. Brownie points for attempting to not puke in the car, I usually manage to get the door open, and by usually I mean the one time I ever got sick from drinking

Clean as much as you can out with an alcohol based cleaner. Ammonia works well too.

Then sprinkle in a couple boxes of baking soda - it absorbs the left over funk. Leave it for a day or so.

Finally vaccum out the baking soda.

Works like a charm. The only time this didn't work was when one of the guys puked into the heating vent. We were never able to heat that car again.

If you can get your hands on something called "Zeolite" it absorbs smell like baking soda, but about a million times better, I've use it to take rotten corn smell out of huge grain bins, and that is a whole lot worse than puke, believe me. You can get it probably at like a livestock feed producing place (like an Agricore or something), or maybe an agricultural store like UFA or something, I'm not sure where it comes from exactly, I get it in big pallates.

As completely nasty as that sounds, puking into the shirt would definately be the lesser of 2 evils. I have yet to puke in a car but I'll have to remember that one, just in case.

I'm disappointed. I thought I was going to get to see a picture of a yak in a car. I was thinking, that's one cosmopolitan yak!

So, I took it to Mr. Detail... a little shampooing later... my car now smells like shampoo... still the slightest little hint of yak... but 100 times better than what I had to deal with.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions... and I'm disapointed we didn't see the picture of the hockey team with the kid puking right a the click of the camera...

just got out of a cab from the bar, the cabbie said "California Scents" and put it by the heater. He smoked and you couldn't smell the tobacco, worked like a charm. Hopefully that helps

$4 at Canadian Tire, so he said.
