What's also terrible is living across the street from an elementary/junior high.

Because kids are so lazy these days, there parents will drive them to school even for a few blocks. Because of this twice every day, my street it lined with cars. What ****es me off is that sometimes, people will park in my driveway and in front off my driveway, so I can get into my garage. And then they have the nerve to leave there car, so I am waiting in the middle of the road to get to my house. There is also no parking spots on the street, because all the lazy kids parents are parked there.

Because laying a kick to the car parked in the way, I really don't know what else can be done to stop this.

Some people are hell bend about rebelling against "the corperate machine." That is until they realize that stuff we get is subsidized by the corperations. Classic example; I've now been going to Sait for a few weeks; I've seen many Coke machines and not a single Pepsi machine.
You guys get coke?
man at the UofC we're stuck with pepsi
(although I am fond of Dr Pepper)

Bu the people writting on the ads and such is called ad-busting
the magazine adbusters basically encourages it. Their point being that ads are becoming much to instrusive in our lives.

I don't have it in front of my house, but there's a Blockbuster's video in my neighbourhood. People will stop right in the middle of the traffic circle to drop off a movie because they can't be bothered to go and park the car. They aren't there long enough to call the parking authority, otherwise I'd call them.

And then there's the people who stop their cars downtown to pick somebody up in rush hour. There's a reason why the sign says "No Stopping", and there's also a reason why back alleys exist.

Wow, I had no idea there were so many perks to living in a cul-de-sac. Sure, it takes 400 turns to get to the front of my house, but as a result there is no thru traffic, and no pedestrians to deal with.

You could probably ask the parking authority to come by around such and such a time...
