Video on Trial. I think that's the only show that Much does that is any good.

I've come across him a few times doing interviews. He's still there I'm pretty sure.

That Fromage show was funny but since I can't stand the stupid sock I can't watch it anymore.

I hate that show the most. How hypocritical is it to spend a half hour blasting the videos that you play the other 23.5 hours a day.

Yeah I thought about that, but I still think the show is funny. Besides, Much generally plays the music videos that people are requesting, they don't just play them cause they like them. So this show says what people like me think about all the crappy videos they normally play, the videos that prevent people like me from watching Much on a regular basis.

I see it as a way to making sure their programs offer a little something for everyone. If you love pop culture there is tons of stuff for you too watch, and If you fed up with it then they offer a little show for you as well. That way they don't alienate any potential viewers.

Besides... the show isn't hosted by the same VJ's that pimp the rest of their videos. Its completely different people, from the couple episodes I've seen

when I lived in Montreal in the late 80s my room-mate was borderline obsessed with Nathalie Richard... I think I'll skip the details

Does anyone remember the original Fromage show that MM used to do in the 80's? It was back when low quality videos were the norm and some of them were utterly ridiculous. Like a guy in a robot suit and stage hands accidentally appearing in shots. Now Fromage makes fun of every video, regardless of how highly produced it is.

Another class MM show: Test Pattern with Dan Gallagher. It was pretty dumb but when I was 9 it was the best show on tv after MacGuyver.

I'm on the side that can't stand watching MuchMusic anymore.

I'm 22, but I stopped watching it when I was 18. I may be young, but I still remember the better VJ's that hosted that channel.

Rachel Perry, Bill Welychka, George Strom(I'm not going to attempt it), Master T... hell, even a snot-nosed Rick the Temp was great as part of that mid-90's crew.

These new VJ's simply don't possess the intelligence, composure and knowledge of the old VJ's. They simply aren't cool. They appeal to the u-17 crowd, when they really need to be appealing to the 16-35 crowd that actually possesses some knowledge about music.

Too much JoJo and Sean Desman makes Muta put .357 to head.

Sounds like the "I Ran" video from the Flock of Seagulls.

That video looked like a Kubrick film compared to some of the real early ones they showed on Fromage. Some of them looked like really bad high school projects.
