Well if the Chiefs can't win, than the Steelers are my number two choice. Always liked Bill Cowher as a coach. Terrific job by the Steelers going into a very tough place to play and getting the job done. When Roethlisberger is healthy, he is a very good quarterback. Certainly Dis knows how good the Steelers team is, as he has been warning all year of what they are capable of. In the past two weeks Joey Porter, and Troy Polamalu have been all over the field. Since their back was been up against the wall in week 12 they have been lights out. Go Steelers!!!!

Well that was a good game by 2 classy franchises. Its a shame one had to lose.
Plummer just didnt bring his A game today. The Steelers were just too much for the Broncos on defence, offense and on speical teams.
I like that Troy Polamalu. He had a good game for the Steelers as did Roethlisberger and Wilson on offense.
I look forward to the next game. I think the Panther will win it.

Thanks Tranny.
He made two horrible throws at bad times, true. But like I said, I think it's unfair to pin the loss on him when Denver's defense forced the offense to abandon the game plan before the first half was over.
And about Polamalu, that is a huge understatement. I've been on the guy's bandwagon since his senior year at USC.....I was PRAYING for him to fall to the Broncos in that draft.
Some teams must be kicking themselves for passing on Roethelisberger too.
I really hope the Steelers win for Bettis.

Moderates: How can you not cheer for a team that also trots the Canadian flag out on the field for the anthem???

Im gonna have to disagree to a point.
That throw at the end of the 1st half was one that he didnt have to make and was completely ill advised.
Down two TD's at half vs 3 scores...is a huge difference.
Ive watched that play on DVR about 7 times now, and there was no reason for it. Just a flat out bad decision at a crucial point.
I will agree though...Champ ( that pump he bit on was brutal) and company were all over the place, and not in a good way.

Kudos to the Steelers, and especially Big Ben, Cedrick, and Troy...holy crap is Polomalu a special football player.

Polamalu with a HUUGE game for the Steelers and now Tatupu with the pick for the Hawks - USC alums kicking ass!! Darnell Bing is going to be a steal for someone in the draft

Gravey. Now I have to listen to my dad talk about "his Steelers going to the big game" for two weeks. My bet is on Carolina to win it though, after they get past the Hawks today, though.

Wow, Seattles defence has been absolutely dominating so far. Sets up a matchup of the Hawaaiin kids next week. Tatapu vs. Polamalu in the Superbowl.

It will.
Man, Tatupu is impressive. He's like Dion Phaneuf for the Seahawks.
