As someone who hasn't voted anything other than NDP or Green in the last 5 elections, I don't usually jump into the CalgaryPuck political threads, lest I be tackled by a whole football team of opposition.
But I think there was a misunderstanding of Duceppe's statement. What he was telling Quebec voters was that if they elected Conservative MPs *IN QUEBEC*, those MPs would be putting in place policies that would help Alberta and not Quebec. I would think Saskatchewan would want to elect MPs that would want to help Saskatchewan. PEI would want to elect MPs that would help PEI. He wasn't saying anything bad about Calgary. He was saying something bad about the Conservative party; namely that they don't support Quebec issues. That's his opinion and a debatable point.
I don't think the MPs that your province have sent to Parliament have represented Quebec's interests over Alberta's interests.
