OK we have the spreadsheet and cards made up. Works great!
Link to the bingo cards is here:
http://www.datadimensions.ca/Flames/...s/Election.htm
Have some extra cards made up, so quite easy for anyone to jump in right away.
And BTW, we will not be going for a blackout, but an "X" to win (hey, it is an election symbol!)

First quotes are in. Link above shows the active cards.
And Snake, we are going to go for an "X" in this first game. You won't need that quote!

Hey I'll join in on the fun, are the cards premade or do I have to make my own?

And you all can get in on this too! IF you find a quote in a website that is on your card, post the link. The quote MUST be made by one of the candidates today, not just referencing a prior comment.

Believe me, the first (or close to it) words out of Martin's mouth today will be "Stephen Harper"!! That's about as safe a bet as you can make...

Swankski, is it just me, or do the cards not play nicely with Firefox? Everything is offset. I can work with it if it's something annoying to fix.

Somehow I think "Stick to your knitting" is going to be problematic on my card.

As there were no others that asked for a card, I gave them out to posters anyway....
Transplant99, Mike F, FlamesAddiction, Cowperson, Agamemnon, Flame On, KevanGuy, Bingo (hey, a natural!), and CaptainCrunch got the unassigned cards that were in fact being played. At least now I can post them too!

Edit as not to bump up this thread for no reason, but yesterday was brutal for quotes!! Only one, and I had to take liberties on that one (allegations vs accusations)
In one paper today, Harper blew giving us "G59" "soft on crime" as he did this....
Quote:
Speaking to a crowd of at least 1,000 supporters at a community centre in Victoria, Harper tripped on his tongue, accusing the NDP of wanting higher taxes and "higher crime" - instead of saying they were soft on crime.
|
Man, no one looks to be winning this outright! Oh well....
