The last time they got blown out was vs Dallas, and they had Weegar for that game.
All I'm saying is, it's not fair to use tonight as evidence of the team being terrible without Weegar. Evaluate them when they have their best players playing.

Interesting game. Nice to see Gridin doing well with Zary and Strome.
I’m happy to see Sourdif doing well for himself on the Caps because I watched him a bunch on the Vancouver Giants starting when he was 15 and I always thought he would make it. I wanted the Flames to draft him that year.

That intermission segment where they were talking about the Flames signing their players in college was weird. What I heard was Francis setting up the discussion to talk about signing their college players, not free agent college players. Then the graphic came up with Tyson Gross at the very top of the list. It seemed to take Francis by surprise, as well.
