I thought she was totally out of it when she finally made it back to the pack and right as the sprint started. Really impressive performance and resilience

And the other Canadian was in disbelief for getting disqualified for interference. Rough on both of those guys

I just saw the replay of that and it looked like he barely touched the guy. Can’t profess to be an expert on the rules of ski cross but in my uninformed opinion it was a bull#### call.

WTF was that penalty in Men's ski cross? Incredibly marginal contact and the guy he supposedly touched won the race anyways...

Our 3rd women's Bobsled team (I think pilot from Calgary?) are competing using a sled borrowed from Romania
Embarrassing

I hate seeing what has happened to our sliding program in Canada. The two man team was using a sled from 2015. It is such garbage trying to compete against countries who actually invest in the sport.

The correct answer would be doing like they do in monobob, and everybody uses the same equipment. Germany spends $10M annually on sliding research/tech. Limits the sport and no wonder that the Germans often sweep the medals

I like the speed skating mass start, but the point/sprint system makes so sense for the finals; it's impossible for them to have any impact on the medals. You could win the first three sprints and then finish 4th in the end and you still just finish 4th.
Sprints should be like 20/10/5 in the final.
But I actually love that the early breakaway worked. So maybe the sprints being meaningless actually makes it more interesting.
