Crazy it wasn't even a minor penalty, just a total goon move. Those two had gotten tangled up in previous scrums too so that was 100% premeditated.

Looking pretty ginger out there but yeah he's back on the ice.

Man Hla### is average at best in the A, but he is just all world every time he plays in a big international tourney

I thought Ruzicka looked pretty good overall today too - think he will get another look in the NHL.

Back on ice for his second shift post hit, so hopefully he is okay. This sucks given his concussion history.

The Finnish coach is a bench warmer no one takes seriously. He has the job because he was assistant to legendary national team coach "Lion King" Jukka Jalonen.

8. in World Championships, and now the first coach in 22 years to lose to Slovakia.

I feel comfortable saying he won't hold he seat long. Too bad he's gonna waste this very special tournament.

With his production in the KHL, and okay showing in the NHL before, should be be possible. Wouldn’t even mind Calgary giving him a chance. People make mistakes (his mistake was really really stupid though lol)

Slovakia with the win looks like! 4-1

So Finland likely finishes third... Makes the elimination round interesting.

Is the quarterfinals the top two in each division, plus the best 2 of 3 third places?

We're in the running for the medals in pairs figure skating, likely a bronze.

Everyone makes the playoffs.

The group winners plus the best 2nd place team get a bye to the quarters. The rest of the teams are ranked 5 to 12 and playoff.

For Finland if they finish 3rd they will be 7, 8 or 9.

7 would get the best 4th place team while 8 and 9 would play each other then play #1.

And just like that 1-1. Sweden ties it up at the end of a powerplay.
