Yeah, I read it as the "top of our prospect list" of who we wanted to draft.

I think no matter where we pick, it will be one pf those 7 names (and I doubt it's a Dman, unless we're licking 4th or 5th and Verhoeff is still there)
Yeah, unless the Flames really love one of those dman, they'll go centre after the first 2 expected picks.

Long way to go.

A real draft conundrum.

I trust Conroy to draft the right player.

Look at Gridin, Reschny, and Parekh in recent drafts. It is very early but they are all projecting to significantly beat their pre draft expectations.

Wyttenbach is projected to end up way, way better than anyone could have expected as well.

I'd expect any top 10 pick to be at the top of the Flames prospect listing, now that Parekh has graduated.

It’s really important we have a very miserable finish to the season. Gotta lose a lot in the final bit of the season. Gotta get the best chance possible for a top pick.

I agree with the above lists, another D man would be a huge mistake except if it’s Verhoeff. I’d genuinely rather move Verhoeff for Misa though. We need skilled forwards so badly.

Parekh has graduated? He is 19 and has played only 14 NHL games.

Man, Viggo Bjorck is still my guy in this draft right after McKenna. Get either one and I'm a happy Flames fan. Or maybe Vegas misses out and wins the lotto from 16 and we draft twice in the top ten and then you definitely snag Viggo with one of them.

Either way, I'm full of confidence with the Flames scouting department so I'll trust their pick. But I definitely have my favorites that I'm hopeful they take.

He's graduated from the prospect list. He's up for good now, so he's going to play a lot more than 14 games.

If we end up at 6 I have no choice but to Vaporize the Earth.

He is up for good for this year, but is eligible for AHL next year

Honzek is still considered a prospect by many and was drafted a whole year before Parekh.

I am just wondering what is considered being graduated? I can't find an answer when I search online.

People in Edmonton would just think the city expanded after.

Bingo does the poll so he decides who the prospects are on it. I imagine he has a games played or something.

My guess is by years end 2 of Brz Gridin and Parekh will be grads - the remaining one, Reschny and the early 2026 pick as top 3 with wyttenbach honzek potter and then later first in the next tier

I feel the same way with flames drafting the last couple if years. Whoever they pick their is always seems to be solid reasoning behind it.

Gridin would have to slide in his play a lot to be sent down. Though I suppose it's possible - that's what happened the first callup. But if they trade Coleman, he's staying for sure. I actually think all 3 of the players you mentioned will be grads.
