As satisfying as it will be to see the Oilers jettison yet another coach, I’d pay real money to replace Hrudey in the booth. The constant ass kissing of the Oilers is repugnant on a Flames broadcast. The Oilers get an entire panel of drunken buffoon homers… don’t we deserve even one?

Oh, agree to disagree. That’s the best part of a home broadcast, the blatant bias. I think the peak was Jack Edwards back in the early 90’s for the Bruins on NESN.
I don’t want objective opinion while watching my team. I want to hear how they are the greatest team on ice while winning, and how the refs are screwing us when we’re losing. Jack was the epitome of that, after a 8-1 loss to the hated Scabs he’d be on about how the refs really jobbed the Bruins that night. That’s the guy I want.
