I do love how the answer to the oilers problems FOR YEARS has been defencemen and defensive play style issues and how they manage to ignore it every time.

Oilers give up a 2nd and probably the most consistently useful player in the deal in Kulak? Feels like a bad deal but will depend on Jarry continuing his bounceback since he also has two years left at 5+ I believe.

This has to work out for the Oilers or it's probably over for them. Jarry has a few more years left on his deal so if he doesn't pan out, it pretty well paves the way for McDavid to free agency.

Kulak had terrible splits but he was the top defenseman in the four that have 500 minutes of ice in xGA60

I love how the habs had a goalie cooking in their prospect ranks, Jacob Fowler. Drafted in the 3rd round and has become one of the top goalie prospects. Just had his first game last night which was a win.
Meanwhile Oilers cupboards are bare so they have to go for older scrubs haha

Great deal for the Penguins. They gain a 2nd round pick for geting out of the last 2.5 years of Jarry's contract, a solid depth defensemen, and a half a season tryout to see if Skinner is a fit.
