I don't think any real Flames fan enjoys them losing, it's more looking forward to hopefully getting a very high pick that may lead to a franchise player that can lead this team into legit contention.

Listen up all you with the hard ons for tanking, this better be ####ing worth it. This is simply not a fun team to watch this year.
Of all the years wrapped into ‘rebuild’, I view this one the hardest as far as getting excited about the nightly product.

If all goes well, as soon as next year we will have a franchise player to watch grow and blossom into the next great leader of this team. Results might be equally bad, but sign me up for that by comparison.

Was at the game, might have been 50 Flames jerseys there at most.

There might have been 50 jerseys there in General! The place looked half deserted like an early 2000s Florida Panthers game or a mid-2000s Phoenix Game.

I’m starting to develop an aversion to the word “mushy”. It’s like hearing the word “moist”. Shudders.

In a battle of two last place teams, the result was a resounding defeat for the Flames.

Oh well, it’s one of 82…

What about "damp?" Is Damp still okay?

The pains of it all is that it’ll guarantee nothing. There has to be a whole lot of excellent management on top of it.

There is only one team the Flames could play down to and they still managed to do it.

*checks to see if Maloney is still employed by the Flames*

Oh, I see...well then, we're ####ed.

Still pleading for coach Huska to start adjusting his system.

You just got extended, and the GM that extended you also received an extension. You’re safe.

Start trying some new things.

Otherwise, it’s hard to watch. Gridin sent down. Parekh injured. Honzek injured. Hunt and Beecher not really points of interests when watching games (and I’d argue they don’t meaningfully help you win or develop going forward).

Be brave. Dare to try something new.

My point was more about how some are arguing that true fans will still watch/buy tickets etc notwithstanding the poor product on the ice.
