faceoff violations could happen in 50% of faceoffs; totally arbitrary enforcement of the rule

I'm at a loss...where was the Flames penalty there? What did they do to warrant a faceoff violation penalty?

Would that penalty be handed out to the Oilers?

I am so confused by that call. I don't remember ever seeing a penalty for a faceoff violation.

I don't get it. If it was a faceoff violation, shouldn't it be the person who took the faceoff in the box?

No goaltender interference on an obvious/intentional trip

This ice must be awful.

Bouncing pucks, Predators players falling down all over the place.

The Flames seem uniquely adept at turning scoring chances into not goals
