The Jets just held a closed-door, players-only meeting after the embarrassment from Buffalo. I just can't grasp how badly things are going and how things have imploded from last year. Yes, Hellebuyck being injured hurts, obviously, but we've been playing like #### all year and frankly have just outscored our terrible underlying metrics, but that dried up. The effort doesn't appear to be there. We're slow. We're the oldest team in the league. It's just a ####ing nightmare.

Not only are we going to miss the playoffs, I'm almost certain we're going to finish in the bottom five. The only bright side is maybe we'll luck out and get McKenna.

Their Vezina goalie is injured and they lost one of their top goal scorers to free agency.

I'm not really sure what a closed door meeting is going to accomplish. They are not a great team.

The Penguins definitely rebounded from their last game as they stomped on the Flyers 5-1. Rust with 3 points and Crosby with 2 goals. The Pens special teams were excellent, 3/4 on the PP and 6/7 on the PK.
