It’s Audioslave and not debatable. Supergroup that was actually unreal. No grey haired boobs with bad haircuts.
This is unreal for old men
Hope it works

I mean yeah they had some good songs. Nothing as good as Soundgarden's best and definitely not as good as Rage.
But what totally wrote them off for me is this garbage. Like...I wrote better poems in grade 7 Language Arts. This is fkn embarrassing.

I remember listening to this and laughing...is it a joke? And then I remembered how God awful "Spoonman" was and thought...as good as Chris Cornell can be, he can also write songs that make me cringe and dive for the 'skip track' button faster than if a Mumford & Sons song came on.

Imagine Dragons might be the worst band of all time. Or at least the most annoying. Nickelback used to hold that title, but the Dragons took the trophy and ran with it.

Went as expected -- really should've isolated it to a specific genre of rock, like me choosing 'metal'.

What about the voice of Geddy Lee
How did it get so high?
I wonder if he speaks like an ordinary guy?
(I know him and he does!)
And you're my fact-checkin' cuz
- “Stereo” - Pavement
Objectively, it is a difficult voice to appreciate. I loved his 80s voice - it added a spooky ethereal quality to the music. Another instrument. As he matured his voice mellowed and become more conventional, and more boring.
Definitely an acquired taste.

One of my favourite live shows. He did Audio, Soundgarden and Rage tunes. Chris skipping around the stage singing “#### you I won’t do what you tell me”. Amazing.
Music is so subjective. You’re always going to love stuff from your teenage years that’s probably crap. The Beatles were so far ahead. Zeppelin is great, everyone stole stuff from other artists. AC/DC is good old fashioned uncomplicated rock. Black Sabbath changed my life. Metallica is fantastic. Mark Knopfler is a god. Alice in Chains, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden.

Bands way better than Audioslave are obviously The Carpenters, Men At Work, Crowded House, and The Village People.

Now, now - the Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions.
