Hogwash! You just want Backlund to level Zary!

I really feel for Honzek. He just can't catch a break. It seems he gets injured every year either off a bad play or a freak accident.

On a more positive note, this could be an opportunity to get Sharangovich going.
Coleman - Backlund - Coronato/Sharangovich
Huberdeau - Frost - Sharangovich/Coronato

Neither Sharangovich, nor Coronato has much chemistry with Kadri. Meanwhile Huberdeau and Lindholm managed to get 30 goals out of Sharangovich. At the same time both wingers benefited whenever they got to play with Backlund and Coleman.

If Huska is intent on keeping Sharangovich out of the lineup then maybe Morton or Kirkland make the most sense to take over Zary's spot as the 4th line C, while he gets promoted.

On the bright side, that was the biggest hit Backlund's ever thrown.

I think the hockey gods are rewarding team tank ... Calgary has had some unbelievable bad luck on our promising young players getting put in the lineups. Parekh and Honzek now out considerable time is not ideal. While both of them have look good at times, they weren't going to be a catalyst to take us to next level this year, so it is not all lost. Their development is pushed back with the injury.

Hope Parekh and Honzek can get healthy and are not rushed back in just for the sake of rushing them back in.

Yeah, I watched that one happen, actually missed the Jets goal because I was watching him skate off. just the way his body reacted it was definitely arm / collar bone / rib type damage, not a head injury. holding his arm against his body and in physical pain.

I think it's Sharangovich that needs to go on this line IMO.

If you need that guy to get going then this is the line you put him on.

Zary has always looked better with Kadri than he has with Backlund and should go there.
