So very true.

Losing Marner for nothing, just like Johnny before him.

Loading the roster with untalented size like Joshua and Roy.

“Grit factor!”

They don’t have the skill to hang with the top teams now. Treliving cooked them quickly. They’re just another mid-tier team in my eyes.

Explain how they got their other four wins, then.

The Leafs are obviously worse without Marner, but they had no control at all over that. He was determined to go to free agency and play where he wanted to play – and every other GM knew it. But they're still a team with plenty of offensive talent. We should all be so ruined!

I'd guess he's trying to do too much hoping he can make it on Team Canada. 4th worst +/- in the league right now. Not the be all and end all, but Andersson got roasted for being baf at that last year.

Like the Oilers, they are expected to win it all by their fans

Like the Oilers, they are looking worse, they are a middling team

The wizard will weasel himself out the door somehow…

The flames are 0.111 when scoring first and 0.500 when scoring second. The solution is clearly to give up a goal early.

I'm not sure through my years of fandom the flames have ever scored first in 8/11 games, it's funny how that translates into being the worst team in the league.

Useless stats are fun, something has to be fun.

So what? They were never that good. Leafs fans are the poster children for irrational expectations.

If a GM deserves to be fired for not being as good as Leafs fans expect their team to be, there isn't a single person on earth who could do that job.

If you ever draft Gridin, I shall send my dog to bite your kneecaps off.

Huska's "be afraid of everything" system will not cut it at the NHL level.. probably still works in junior though.

One of the most dynamic offensive defensive prospects in the NHL gets into Huska's system and looks like a 10 point, second assist dman.

Sharangovic, Coronato, Zary have all taken a huge step backwards.

The idea that Huska is a good development coach is right up there with the rumor that Marilyn Manson removed a rib to felate himself.

Backlund/Coleman developed both Coronato and Zary...and now Honzek. Once those players moved to a different line they started to play like everyone else burdened with Huska's crap system.

Can't wait to finish dead last and lose the draft lottery and get a shiny new toy for Huska to ruin.

I'm welcoming to a tank but I'm never welcoming to losing to the Leafs.

Good to see Honzo, Frosty and Beezer get on the scoresheet though.

Three goals, all by players that were due. I like goals and accept this result.

Perfect tanking game. Happy to see Farabee and Honzek get their firsts.
Of course I would have loved to see Toronto lose as well, NHL and MLB as well.

Chasing 1st is almost difficult as chasing the cup.

I dunno man, I know that is usually the case for the Leafs but the impression I'm getting from their fans/media so far this season is that they're becoming pretty aware & starting to panic about this contention window being completely cocked up by Tre.
