Super curious to see if Bo actually starts and if so where he slots, or he pinch hits later in the game?

Against lefty Blake Snell, here's my guess at what we might see as a lineup tonight. This will be much different then we'll see in games 2, 3 and 4 against right handers.
1. Springer - RF
2. Schneider - LF
3. Guerrero - 1B
4. Bichette - DH
5. Kirk - C
6. Clement - 3B
7. Varsho - CF
8. Kiner-Falefa - 2B
9. Gimenez - SS
Lukes & Barger to the bench against the lefty

Honestly, that would be super ideal. I hope Springer changes his stance and plays the field though.

Bo straight into 2B is pretty crazy, that's pretty demanding on his knee. Hopefully it holds up, huge to have his bat back. And really glad Gimenez is still at short

I think it's awesome to have Schneider in there, but I'd have probably swapped him and Clement in the order. Clement has been on fire, and he's raked against lefties all year. I'd love to see him get the maximum number of at-bats against the starter tonight. I get that creates 5 righties in a row that you wouldn't pinch hit for at the top of the order (I'd expect Schneider to come out for either Lukes or Barger once they're into the pen), but I think it's worth it to get Clement another at-bat against a lefty.

Don’t blame them for going righty heavy vs Snell.
Bo starting at 2B is definitely a surprise though.

I'd rather have IKF than Straw at RF. To have Straw on the starting roster is interesting.

Vlad at 1B and Gimenez at SS have great range. If he can simply play the balls that are hit directly to him, that would be a win. I only worry about covering 2nd base on double plays.
I expect that the Dodgers are a fly ball heavy team so there may be less for him to do at second than he would against another team.

I have no clue of the stats that would support or refute this, but Bo at 2B with Yesavage on the mound might shelter him a little bit versus other Jays pitchers.
His Splitter and Slider both have armside movement, making the pitch move to the right (the reverse of what you would expect). So lefties would more naturally push the ball towards SS/3B with the pitch tailing away from them, and righters would more naturally pull the ball towards SS/3B with the pitch jamming them a bit.
Again no stats to back this up, but might be a less risky expiriment to try this out tonight with Yesavage on the mound versus other starters. Though, in game 1 of the World Series I personally would have opted not to expiriment at all.

I can’t remember IKF ever playing outfield. Straw at RF can help cover for shallow pop flies that Bo wouldn’t be able to get to.

I dunno about that. Straw is elite in the OF, and IKF's bat is only marginally better.

They're shifting things around to get France in at DH for Snelling.
