They definitely seem to have a plan to bring Parekh in slowly and gradually. He is only 19 after all.

I suspect they want him on the point with another d-man so he's less likely to get burned on too many SHGs. Ease him in.

Watching the game live with a focus on Parekh and what a nothing burger of a period for him where we have 3 PPs. Huska continues to defy reason.
I can firmly say he has learned nothing of the NHL game so far today, everytime he was on for PP2 it was clear after clear after clear with nothing he can do to influence the play whatsoever. He needs touches to even make mistakes let alone succeed, he’s getting sweet F all rn and to no fault of his own. Only 1 period of course but sad to see.

I have complete faith that the Flames will pull off the win, as a good portion of the fanbase will miss most of the game watching the Jays. Just seems like a very Flames thing to do.
