The difference is he might gain something from watching the game from a different perspective. For other players, it would just be a night munching popcorn.

When a veteran struggles it's usually best to let them work it out in games. When rookies struggle they often need to have a look from above and not work into a deeper slump.

Edit: like Getback said

Even though there was luck, that was a nice play.

I have no idea wtf you are comparing here? Gully is a masterful tactical coach as seen when you watch his instructor videos. Without him organizing Edmonton's PP they don't get to the SCF two years in a row. He had a bunch of disinterested low talent guys to work with here who listened to nobody. Now he is 3-0 on Dallas and has the Stars just dominating. Gully is the exact opposite of Ryan Huska, he preaches a tactical cerebral game in the offensive zone with passes mostly coming from down low to a man in the slot. Huska teaches throw it back to the point and pray. They are not comparable. God, if only we had Gully as a coach still. Another f up by BT letting that guy go.

It’s the end of days- people are saying Trenmade an error to fire Gully on CP. I suspect he is a better coach today but he was terrible with the Flames.

Great 4th line shift followed by a press by the Kadri line to draw another penalty

Happy to see Andersson fired up after some bad puck luck lately. He's a heart and soul player.
