This thread has been fun to read. I used to know Myke many moons ago through mutual friends and unless he’s pulled a complete 180 as a person since then I’d be willing to bet he’s actually making a sincere effort to reach out and listen to the concerns of as many constituents as possible. We should be encouraging that instead of turning it into a gong show, even if some of the replies have admittedly been funny.

How might we as downtown communities get investment in services, infrastructure, amenities, etc BEFORE the towers go up rather than AFTER?

How might we stop (or at least do a better of managing) the developer game of "apply for 10 stories more than the area guideline and promise yet another plaza as a community benefit while touting transit oriented development so that you end with the 5 extra stories you really wanted?". People in this community have information fatigue from the constant engagement sessions that don't ever seem to result in anything other than what was already planned.

How might we get some excitement and momentum back into the now stalled out and somewhat neglected cycling network?

What would it take to end the constant issues with snow clearing jurisdictional boundaries especially on pathways and sidewalks (i.e. one team clears a pathway but leaves a windrow blocking access, and then another contractor comes in and shovels it back into the lane).
