Gridin wears the minuses tonight by no fault of his own IMO. He's been really good. Coronato needs to finish. D is shabby, especially so with Bahl potentially missing. This team needs an infusion of scoring ability in the worst way and could really use some clean exits.

Hope Zayne next game and Huby soon and we can start stringing some offensive shifts together from time to time. Tonight looked like a team that could try hard and still end up in a lottery pick but tough B2B so probably shouldn't read into it too much just yet.

No reason to play Wolf on back to back. They ain’t contenders. Why burn him out?

Other than the first goal, it's hard to pin that on Wolf.

Looking back, might have been better to rest Wolf.

Score flatters the Nucks. If Flames hit the net more on their shots it could have been a lot closer.

Looked like a lot of disconnect on the lines. Frost looked good. I don't get the Farabee compliments (nor Yegor). First line was quiet - liked seeing Gridin up there. No mistakes from him and some creativity. Defense was pretty rough - maybe these pairs should be adjusted?

Wolf completely stole 2 points last night. And had an off game tonight.

It is what it is. He is still an elite goalie.

High Danger chances were 8-5 Flames the D wasn't really a big issue
expected goals 2.6 each

bad bounces, bad goals, poor finish

I've never viewed it as a good idea to play the same goalie on back to back nights. Not basing it on just tonight.

Can't complain they got two points playing back to back in opposing teams season openers. Count me in as someone who thinks they need to play Parekh Saturday. Also wouldn't be surprised to watch them get a backup ASAP. The back to back for Wolf seemed like a failed experiment. Hopefully Huberdeau can replace Farabee on the powerplay soon.

I think the Flames are working on something but they have a league low 8 back to backs left

Puck in the head...then the Canucks put it in the net

Demko would look human playing 20 hours apart with travel too, I'd reckon.

of course he is...we can be honest though. 2.6 expected goals and 5 scored

They only scored one anyway

My hot take is back to back games should be against the same team.
