I am cheering hard for Gridin here to take it across the finish line tonight. This is such a cool story.

He rebounds just fine. Right onto opposing sticks.

Not that I've seen.
To me, this, not the Solo waiver claim or backup goalie situation, is my biggest pre-season disappointment.
I'd like to have seen more of a plan from the Flames to give him some more opportunity to develop as a C.

^ For the record Zary never played C all camp.
Also, unless he goes off tonight with a hat trick or some other crazy performance (or prolonged injury to Huberdeau or Pospisil), I'm pretty sure Gridin is being sent down.

Well Huska said that Pospisil is fine and Huberdeau is day-to-day. Probably just wants to get out of playing preseason games.

Or Miromanov goes on the IR, at least to start the season

Why not both? Open up another spot for a young player.

^^ Don't think he's injured, just not being played. I could be wrong though.

Why would you trade Sharky now when his value is probably at its lowest?
I would argue the same with Coleman.
Which young forwards have shown they are ready?
This mindset of dumping vets at all costs is really narrow minded.

I don't want to dump vets for no reason. I just want to dump the ones that have a track record of being terrible at NHL hockey like Miromanov, Bean and probably Kirkland.

Yeah Sharky is so old...not to menton one of the Flames best goal scorers
You are crying about losing a 25 year old that hasn't been able to stick in the NHL but want to get rid of a 27 year old that has scored 30 goals recently

I’m having a hard time adjusting to this no game day dress code thing. What is this outfit?!?
