He's almost three years older than Luke Hughes (32 months). I admit I haven't seen him play much, but seems high.
Although, I think "seems high" will be the reaction to most contracts that come out for the next little while.

IMO Conroy's top priority going into this summer was signing young RFAs to long term deals before cap hits exploded. IMO Wolf and Coronato's deals are looking better day by day since the Kaprizov

From what I understand they are generally happy for their teammates when a new contract is signed. They don't really hold animosity towards the player but they may not like the GM or their agent when someone gets more money.
McTavish may be wondering why McTavish doesn't value him so much AND also wondering why his agent didn't work hard enough for him.
Some guys may be like me... "Dang, I should have asked for more, oh well, I'm happy right now anyway".

I'm pretty sure i watched all 4 games against the Ducks last year. We went 3-0-1 against them.
He had 2 assists and a -2 averaging 25 mins a game.
I guess he is an under the radar kinda guy...

I really know nothing about this guy other than he makes less than Darnell Nurse.
Also, I feel safe assuming he is a better hockey player than Darnell Nurse.

$6.5M contract is the new $9M.
$10M contract is the new $14M.
$12M contract is the new $17M.

I guess I’m an outlier but he stood out to me in my Ducks viewings last season, and has been on a pretty steady trajectory through college and pro. There’s always risk but I get paying this if you think you’re locking up a solid all-around first pairing D for all his prime years.
