Someone in the early 2000s laughed at a Locke joke towards the French and he's been searching for the same high ever since. He wasn't the class clown growing up, but he sat next to them and studied them.

"He's French...kidding aside!"

Laugh.

I'm not always sure the intention of these comments, but I don't think they add anything to the conversation.

Just an observation.
Sounds like something the French would say

Copley should sue his parents for spelling Phoenix incorrectly.

Flames pretty stacked on the wings, so there's not really a spot for Pelletier but I hope someone grabs him and gives him a chance in the NHL.

Funny considering the Flames had interest in Copley before they grabbed Prov.

Fair enough.

I thought they were so over-the-top as to be considered satire, but I appreciate your candor and politeness.

Pelletier is a weird one, he has 2 years (after this one) on an NHL contract, which I believe is 1-way, so it seems like dropping him to the AHL for this season was always on the cards and then he'd be back with the Lightning after that.

This may have happened prior to the new regulations being put into the CBA though so I dont know how that may affect things, someone more well versed in CBA regulations might be able to clear that up. I thought he signed a 3-year deal, makes NHL money in all 3 but in the last two years are 1-way. I'm not entirely sure.

Also, its something we've seen before but the current circumstances with the new CBA and the increase in the Salary Cap that may change things, but...sometimes emerging prospects on contracts price themselves out of positions. If your production can be replaced by someone making less...you probably will be.

Well I for one enjoy Lockes jabs at the French and think it's funny and completely warranted.

What's next? No more jabs at Edmonton or those suckers who live in Lake Bonavista?

Maybe it says more about us that we think something that awesome would be a punch line.
